Ward Off Fleas with Garlic

I was speaking with Patty, one of the Physicians Transport Drivers, as Mom was being taken from her facility to the hospital for a follow-up exam. Patty loves animals and has quite a few. She doesn't worry about paying for flea prevention products. She crushes cloves of garlic and places some into each of her cats' and dogs' food each day. She says she has never had a flea problem, ever! She also jokingly said, "Just like garlic keeps the fleas away, too much garlic will also keep the men away." The smell of garlic will come out of our pours if we go overboard. But garlic is good for so many things. It can help to reduce blood pressure, high cholesterol and overall prevents abnormal clotting.
