Moms can get the job done.

Moms are great! We have a way of taking whatever life hands us and making it the best we can. The Mom Squad understands that you are worried about the economy and what might happen to your family.

Don't be afraid! God is going to help you. There are ways to save and bring your family together that you've never thought of. Ask for his help and then get busy being the inventive mom that God created you to be.

Many years ago a friend of mine lived in a very ritzy neighborhood. Her husband lost his job and it would be a year before he found another one. I still remember going to her house to pray with her. She was smiling and very happy. Her small children were healthy and doing well. When I asked how things were going she replied, "Great! I never knew how much money I was wasting. I've found out that I can do without plastic wrap, tin foil and all kinds of prepared foods. We aren't going without anything that is vital to our health or important for us to live - but we are living on about 1/3 of what we had. We've simply learned to ask, 'Is this really important or can I do without it.' "

I love the following video. It proves that even when life is hard....God gives moms what they need to help their family survive.

Magnificent Motherhood

Happy Mother's Day and THANK YOU for all those who came to the 2009 Mom Squad Mother's Day luncheon! It was truly a wonderful day and I thank everyone who took the time to spend an afternoon with us in praise of motherhood and to thank God for His blessings. A heartfelt thank you to Windows on the River for making the venue so beautiful. It was breathtaking! Also thanks to Laus Deo salon in Twinsburg for providing bags and goodies for 300+ ladies. Thank you to Wobblefoot Gallery, Vitamix, Hey Butler and GFS. You helped make the event a success! Here is a brief slide show of the day. On a side note, the battery died before the keynote speaker so please forgive that the slide show is cut short. Thankfully we had another camera and will be posting the rest soon. God bless you and see you next year!

Happy Mother's Day!

We love this!

Mom is an expensive employee!

Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

What a wonderful thing to hear from your family. But have you ever wondered how much you could make if you did all those "home" jobs at a paying facility? figures that your salary would be somewhere between $85,876 and $134,121.

If you go to their website you can use their Mom Salary Wizard and personalize your pay. You can also print out a check to give to your mom for Mother's Day.

I tried it and figured in at a whopping $155,000. My husband has promised to take me out to dinner more. Whoo hoo!

Check it out....
